Liechtenstein is a landlocked country in Western Europe bordered by Switzerland to the West and Austria to the East. It is a mountainous country with a population of 35000. The capital is Vaduz and is known for being a winter ski destination. The temperature in the winter is usually below freezing although not below -15 degrees, but the summer temperatures range between 20 and 28 degrees.

Then in August there is the Liechtenstein State Celebration, festival with firework displays. The celebrations are held at the Vaduz castle with fireworks illuminating all of the Rhine valley.
