Festivals and EventsDiscover What's Happening At OlandOland's main town Borgholm is the summer residence to HRH Crown Princess Victoria and each year in July Victoria Day is celebrated with plenty of celebrations as well as a mini-marathon. The royal family attend the festival and a scholarship is usually given out to a lucky Swedish athlete. Another popular event is the Oland Harvest Festival held each September. The festival's main emblem is the pumpkin and is also Sweden's largest harvest festival. It is something not to be missed if you wish to encounter some traditional cultural activities. |
