Malaga

General Information about Malaga

The city of Malaga which is thought to have been inhabited since around 1000 B.C is ideally located within the region of Costa del Sol. Malaga is one of Spain's most populated cities and attracts many visitors each year because of its beautiful location along the Mediterranean coast. Set within the southern parts of Spain, Malaga is well known for being the birthplace of the famous artist Picasso.

If you are a fan of Picasso then a trip to the ever popular Picasso Museum and birthplace should not be missed. There are many interesting sights worth exploring while you are visiting Malaga and some of the main attractions worth visiting are the Malaga Cathedral and the Gibralfaro Castle. One of Malaga's main event is the annual Malaga Fair which takes place each August.

Travelling to Malaga is simple with regular flights landing at the Malaga Airport but it is also possible reach Malaga via bus and train.
