General Information about Ibiza
 Ibiza or Eivissa is one of the most popular party destinations of the Balearic Islands with a population of over 37,000 people. The Balearic Islands were first established as far back as 654 BC. Set in the Mediterranean Sea Ibiza features many beautiful beaches, as well as a variety of interesting sights that are well worth exploring.
Apart from the island's popular nightlife there are many things to keep you occupied while you are here. Starting with the islands hidden cove of Atlantic to visiting the island's mystical rock which is known as Es Vedra. Visiting the old section of Ibiza should not be forgotten which is known by the locals as Vila d'Eivissa.
The best time to visit Ibiza is between June and October. Getting there is easy with a number of airlines flying onto the island. It is also possible to get there by boat with several companies running all year round.
