Small and cosy Hotel Rural Las Calas occupies an old house recovered, renovated in 1999 and decorated with traditional furniture and clear African influences.
It is the ideal place to rest in a calm and familiar atmosphere, enjoying protected natural spaces where species of endemic flora and birds of the own ecosystem proliferate.
La Vega de San Mateo counts on different protected natural areas and places to be visited with reminiscences of ancient vegetation and old watermill.
Rural Las Calas provides 5 double/triple guest rooms and 2 junior suite. All rooms are decorated in a very original and rustically style and equipped with private bathroom / shower, hair dryer, local TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, mini-bar / central heating.
Junior suite room additionally has a Jacuzzi/whirlpool. Non-smoking rooms are also available.

Location / DirectionsOur Hotel is in La Lechuza, a little village near Vega de San Mateo in Gran Canaria. There is a Bus Stop, only 150 meters from the Hotel.
From the airport, the guest must get one bus to Las Palmas, and in Las Palmas to take the second bus to Tejeda. The bus stop is called La Lechuza. The distance to the airport is 38 km.
By rental car: from the airport take the Highroad in direction Las Palmas, and take the sign to Tafira - Santa Brigida. In Santa Brigida go along the road to Vega de San Mateo, and in the end of this villa there is a sign for Tejeda. Take it and after about 5 km there is a sign to La Lechuza together with Restaurant called El Meson where our hotel is.
