Guesthouse 506 : Guesthouse (Accommodation)

Overview

Our house is located in the central part of Donovaly - the mountain village of central Slovakia, located at the west entrance point to the Low Tatras mountain range. It is well known for its ski slopes, mostly aimed for begginers and intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

We have two bedrooms 2+3, sharing a small hall with kitchenette and a bathroom. During the summer, there is a porch available to enjoy views of the nearby forest.
The surrounding mountains are great for hillwalking, short walks, or just spending relaxing time in beautiful nature with healthy mountain air of altitudes around 1000 m.

Good public transport to nearby towns of Banska Bystrica and Ruzomberok.

Location / Directions

If you travel to Banska Bystrica or Ruzomberok, there are regular buses going to Donovaly with the last buses departing around 6pm.
From the bus stop aim for the road with the church on your left and the shop on right hand-side. Continue on this road up, keep left but not turning sharp left. The part of village is called Misuty. The first house has a small pub at the basement, the third house is a mountain rescue post and following is wooden cottage behind which you will see our yellow house.
