Setubal's city centre is where many people begin exploring this historical city, but the most popular attraction is the Monastery of Jesus. The architecture of the Monastery of Jesus is known as Manueline otherwise known as Portuguese late Gothic. Dating back to 1490, the Monastery of Jesus is today used as an art museum.
