Overview

The Clube de Campo Vila Gale is situated next to the Roxo Dam, only 19 kms from Beja in the Alentejo province and developed in an area of 1620 hectares. The Vila Gale Country Club introduces a new concept of holidays in direct contact with nature and country life. This hotel offers its guests the possibility of getting involved in the day to day running of a farm, having close contact with olive groves, vineyards, corn and wheat fields, orchards and animals in freedom (bulls, black pigs, dears and horses). Rooms are well furnished and equipped with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, fax/modem connection, radio/TV, mini-bar, pay-safe and hair dryer. One room available for disabled guest. Location / Directions

Coming from the North:

Follow the A1 motorway until you reach Santarem. Following signs to the A2, continue past Lisbon. Take the Beja / Ferreira exit on the IP 8 and proceed to Ferreira do Alentejo. After the Cipol petrol station at the entrance to Ferreira do Alentejo, turn right at the roundabout and follow signs to Castro Verde Aljustrel. Drive straight on at two further roundabouts and continue until you reach the Ervidel / Beja crossroads. Turn left towards Beja and follow this road to Santa Vitória. Here, you need to turn right at the third traffic lights and follow the signs to Clube de Campo Vila Gale.

Coming from the South:

Follow the A2 motorway and take the Ourique / Castro Verde / Beja exit on the IP2. Follow this road, passing Castro Verde and Entradas, and then come off at Albernôa. When you reach Albernôa, follow the signs to Clube de Campo Vila Gale.

Coming from Spain

Head to the border at Badajoz, and then follow signs to Évora. At Évora take the IP2 to Beja. Continue past Beja and then take the Albernôa exit. Next to the school turn right to the hotel.
