As reccommended by alastair sawdays special places to stay...this estored farmhouse is perched on a hilltop,surrounde by orange groves with sweeping views of the coastline.....5 minutes from tavira centre and only 5 minutes from the beach of cabanas...all rooms have air-conditioning anfd on-suite bathrooms...all windows have mosquito nets..3 golf corses close by ....also tennis,horse riding and kite-surfing.

Advise about arrival time.

Check in any time...check out by 12 am.

Location / Directions

If travelling by car from faro airport take the motorway in the direction of spain......30 kms.take tavira exit down to EN125 heading left to Villa Real....4 kms on you will see the eurotel on you left hand side....500 mts. on signposted to the left is ALMARGEM....500 mts. down this road you will see a small white bridge on you right hand side...opposite the bridge on your left is the turning to CASA VALE DEL REI......if travelling by train from faro to tavira and the taxi to casa vale del rei is 5 euros
