Leone di Sant'Anna is situated in the center of Lucca (income from Porta Sant'anna) and is superior in features to many hotels and bed & breakfast.
Within a stone's throw from the historical centre and close to restaurants and supermarkets (50 metres), Leone di Sant'Anna is the ideal place to spend restfully your stay in Lucca.

The Leone di Sant'Anna has rooms with a private bathroom and others sharing an external bathroom; our guests are free to come back at any time since they are given the key of the main entrance of the affittacamere.

There are parking facilities and a bus stop just outside the main building entrance.
We will wellcome you at your arrival and take care of your stay, but you will have a key and a code number which permit you to move in and out as you like.

Location / Directions

By train: if you arrive to Lucca by train, you can reach us easily walking for only 10-15 minutes. From train station entrance turn left and follow 'Viale Cavour', pass 'Piazza Indipendenza'. Continue along this road, wich becomes 'Viale Giosue Carducci' until you reach 'porta S.Anna' (city gate in wall) at 'Piazzale Boccherini'. Turn left at 'Viale Catalani' and take first right at the church; continue for 50 metres in 'Via Buonamici'. Hostel is on the right hand side, number 221.

By car: if you arrrive to Lucca by car, go to the Railway station square, then follow the instructiuon as above.
Arriving to Lucca Leone di Sant'anna is easy to reach by the Firenze-Mare motorway: from Florence, exit motorway at Capannori and from Genova, Livorno or Versilia, exit motorway at Lucca.

By plane: the nearest airport is the one located at Pisa, only 20 km distant. From there you can reach Lucca in half an hour, by train or car.
