General Information about Capri

Isle of Capri

Without a doubt it would be impossible to visit Capri and not come home with an amazing story. There is plenty do on the island if you wish or you can just spend your days relaxing on the island's beautiful sandy beaches. The Isle of Capri is an extremely popular holiday destination with many people travelling to the island on day trips.

While you are visiting this beautiful island you must visit the famous villa's built by Augustus successor Tiberius. The most famous of these villa's is known as Villa Jovis which simply means Villa of Jupiter and is situated on Mount Tiberio which is second highest point of the island.

Day trips are great but won't really allow you to experience the true vibe of the island as it is in the evenings when everything changes. The Piazzetta is the place to be during the evening which is where you will be able to enjoy the local wine and cuisine as well as mixing with the locals.
