The Sporades Islands are made up of four islands in the eastern shores of mainland Greece which are Alonnissos, Skiathos, Skopelos and Skyros. Alonissos is to the east of Skopelos it is a peaceful island with a small population. The beaches are more difficult to get to compared to the neighbouring islands. Skiathos is the main island and the beaches are soft and sandy. Skiathos and Skopelos are full of forestry and are very popular with the tourists.
