Gibraltar is a British territory on the Southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula and shares a border to the North with Spain who has disputed the sovereignty with Great Britain in the past. Gibraltar's capital shares the same name, its population is 28000, and is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Land area is an issue and over 10% of its land area is reclaimed land. It has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers.

Gibraltar is famous for its Barbary Apes which occupy the top of the Rock, but it is also home to a number of rare species of bougainvilleas, as well as being a stop off point for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds who use Gibraltar as a link from Northern Europe to tropical Africa where they fly for the winter.
