Dusseldorf is closely neighboured by the city of Bonn at a distance of 71 kilometres while the city of Koblenz is located at a distance of 154 kilometres. Dusseldorf is in fact the largest city within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with a population of over ten million residents.
