Worcester which has been inhabited since 400 B.C is located within the West Midlands just 25 miles from Stratford Upon Avon. Worcester boasts a population of over 93,000 residents and is a city of Worcestershire county. Ideally located just 40 miles away from Birmingham and 48 miles from Coventry, Worcester is home to many interesting features that should not be missed.
One of the city's most popular tourist destinations is the Worcester Cathedral which was built back in 680. The Worcester Cathedral which was rebuilt back in 1860 is beautifully set along the River Severn and features architecture of medieval influences.
Worcester attracts many visitors each year because of its historical festival known as the Three Choirs Festival. The festival takes place in August and has been a popular event of Worcester since the 18th century.
