General Information about Suffolk
You will find the county of Suffolk within the region of East England just 31 miles away from Norwich and a distance of 45 miles from Cambridge. Suffolk is home to a combined population of 702,000 with over 120,000 residents living in the main town of Ipswich. There are seven main districts in Suffolk which are Suffolk Coastal, Mid Suffolk, Babergh, Forest Heath, St Edmundsbury and Waveney and of course Ipswich.
If you are visiting Ipswich then be sure to visit the Ipswich Museum which boasts some interesting exhibitions from the former counties of East and West Suffolk. One of the county's most well known destinations is the Suffolk Coast Path with covers a distance of 50 miles along the Heritage Coast.
