The city of Norwich which has been inhabited since the Middle Ages can be found in the East of England within the county of Norfolk. Norwich is located approximately 116 miles away from London with its closest major cities being Ipswich as just 44 miles away and Cambridge at a distance of 63 miles.
Norwich is ideally set along the River Wensum which is a tributary of the River Yare. Boasting a population of over 130,000 residents, Norwich was in fact the second largest city in England back in the 11th century.

Construction of the Norwich Cathedral began in 1300 but was not fully completed until 1430.
