One of Grimsby's most notable and well known monuments is the Grimsby Dock Tower which is 309 feet high. Originally built back in 1852 the Grimsby Dock Tower is now listed as a Grade I Listed building. Grimsby also places host to a ever popular festival known as the Great Grimsby Brass Band Festival which takes place each June.
Grimsby is well connected with the rest of England with regular trains arriving from Barton upon Humber, Lincoln, and Manchester. It is also possible to travel to Grimsby via car or bus.
