Dorset is neighboured by many important and popular city's with the popular town of Bournemouth being located just twenty-four miles away. Home to over 701,000 residents, Dorset is also located just over fifty miles away from Southampton and Bristol.
One of Dorset's most popular and well known attractions is the Jurassic Coast which has in fact been listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Poole Harbour is also worth visiting as it is the world's second largest natural harbour.
If you enjoy exploring through historical sites and ruins then the Corfe Castle comes highly recommended. Set atop the Purbeck Hills within the district Purbeck, and is clearly visible from the town itself.
