You will find the town of Bury St Edmunds eighty miles away from London and just half an hour from Cambridge in the county of Suffolk. Bury St Edmunds is home to over 35,000 residents and has been inhabited since the Middle Ages. Bury St Edmunds is filled with culture as well as a variety of historical buildings and monuments.

The Bury St Edmunds Abbey is without doubt one of the towns most well known historical sites, found within the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Dating back to 869 A.D the Abbey was then partially destroyed in 1327 but was rebuilt in the 14th century. Also worth visiting is the St. Edmundsbury Cathedral which dates back to 1065.
