Because Ribe is Denmark's oldest town there are a wide variety of museums, cathedrals and historical monuments to be seen. The Ribe Cathedral is one such landmark not to be missed. Dating back to 860 and boasting six bells in total. But if you prefer to explore through musums then the Ribe Kunstmuseum is not one to be missed which dates back to 1891.
If you are lucky enough to be visiting Ribe between May and September be sure to ask the locals about The Night Watchman in Ribe. The Night Watchman walks around the city telling people that bedtime is near.
