Horsens is famous for hosting the annual festival known as the European Medieval Festival which takes place in August. This festival has been running since 1995 and attracts visitors and artists from all over Europe.
The best way to get to Horsens is via rail as the nearest airport is located just over an hour away from the city within the region of Tirstrup.
