General Information about Paphos

The city of Paphos has been inhabited since Neolithic times and is famous for being the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite. Paphos which has been listed as a World Heritage Site can be found on the South Western side of Cyprus. Home to over 47,000 residents, Paphos boasts many interesting sights that should not be missed.

If you are lucky enough to be visiting Paphos then be sure to ask for directions to the Tombs of the Kings. This site is extremely fascinating and is one Paphos oldest historical sites dating back to 4th century B.C.E. One of the city's most notable landmarks is of course the Paphos Castle which is ideally located within the Paphos Harbour.

Getting to Paphos is easy with regular flights landing at the Paphos International Airport.
