General Information about Kastela

Found along the Adriatic Sea within the county of Split-Dalmatia is Kastela which is seven towns considered as one. Kastela is home to over 34,000 residents with the largest populated town being Kastel Stari with over 6,500 residents.

Kastela closely neighboured by Trogir, Solin, Split with the closest nearby island being Brac. The other towns of Kastela are Kastel Sucurac, Kastel Novi, Kastel Luksic, Kastel Kambelovac, Kastel Gomilica and Kastil Stafilic which is also the smallest.
