Baska Voda

General Information about Baska Voda

Home to over three thousand residents the municipality of Baska Voda is located along the Adriatic Sea and is neighboured by Brela, Makarska and the island of Brac. Baska Voda which is apart of the Split-Dalmatia county is a popular holiday destination with many beautiful beaches to choose from. Baska Voda is thought to have been inhabited since the Bronze Age by Indo-Europeans and then the Illyrian tribes.

Apart from Baska Voda's beautiful beaches there is plenty to keep you amused while you are visiting this historical town. Try visiting the local museum or explore through the historical Saint Nicholas Church that dates back to 1889. Baska Voda also plays host to a number of festivals and events throughout the year such as the annual Saint Nicholas Day which takes place in December.
