Set at an elevation of approximately 200 metres above sea level within the north-central Bulgaria is the town of Sevlievo. This historical city dates back to the eight century and is home to over 25,000 residents. Sevlievo which is under three hours away from the nations capital of Sofia is one of the wealthiest towns in the nation.

This charming town of Sevlievo has a wide variety of historical monuments and attractions worth visiting with one example being the towns Clock Tower. Situated within the centre of Sevlievo the Clock Tower dates back to 1877. Also found in the heart of Sevlievo is the Monument to Feedom which is of Italian design and was built in 1894. One of the best ways to learn about Sevlievo is by visiting the historical Town Museum of History.
