You will find the town of Blagoevgrad within the province of the same name in the South Western parts of Bulgaria. Home to over 76,000 residents, Blagoevgrad has been inhabited since 300 B.C and was originally known as Scaptopara.
This historical town is set at an elevation of 1,345 feet along the Blagoevgradska Bistritsa River. Bulgaria's Blagoevgrad attracts many visitors each year with many choosing to spend their time within the towns famous hot springs.
