First established as a town in 1886 but has in fact been inhabited since 100 B.C is the charming town and popular ski resort of Bansko. Set at an elevation of 3,035 feet, Bansko can be found in South Western Bulgaria.

If you are lucky enough to be visiting Bansko be sure to visit the nearby village of Banya. Here you will be able to forget about all of your worries in on of the villages twenty-seven thermal mineral springs.
