Eagle´s Nest Tour : Bus Tour (Attraction)

Overview

A special adventure awaits you on our excursion to the Eagle´s Nest. Leaving Mirabell Square we cross the Salzach river using the main city bridge, passing alongside the baroque old city. Then along the Alpenstrasse to the old border crossing at Marktschellenberg. Through scenic farm villages we will then arrive at the Obersalzberg and the hightlight of this journey, the Eagle´s Nest which we shall reach by means of a coach and elevator. The coach trip from the Obersalzberg to the Eagle´s Nest takes about 20 minutes.

During the journey you will have a magnificant view up to the 'Hoher Göll' and across the towering, snowcapped peaks of the Bavarian mountains. The elevator (length 365ft) will take you up to the Eagle´s Nest (5000 ft). The contented faces at the end of this trip are living proof that it is a very worthwile excursion. Before returning to Salzburg we stop in the town of Berchtesgaden, enabling you to perhaps enjoy a Bavarian delicacy.
